With more than a decade of experience in the field of 3D, UX, visual, and motion design, I am passionate about the current state of design, and feel privileged to be part of shaping its future.

During these years, I've been fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the best in the industry from multiple disciplines. While I've shaped my career in places like New York, Los Angeles, and Seoul, I am currently in Seattle, addicted to local coffee and IPA. When I am not thinking about design, I am perfecting my ultralight backpacking setup, dreaming of thru-hiking the backcountry .

Throughout my career in UX, I've been involved in shipping numerous high profile projects such as console user interface for Xbox 360 (including the launch of Kinect), next generation UI concepts for Xbox One, all of UI/UX for Forza Motorsport 5 (flagship AAA launch title video game for Xbox One), mixed reality visual experience design for HoloLens V1 shell UI (including the look & feel for all Windows Holographic system applications), and most recently signature user experience and brand visual identity / visual design language for Samsung Experience OS (on flagship Galaxy S8 smartphones and beyond).

As both designer and director, I am committed to delivering each project with highest standards, from establishing the right vision, to following through with effective process. Whether choosing between aesthetic and functionality, intuition and insight, I believe it's more about striking the right balance. I try to abide by these principles not only in my work, but also in my life.
